Large scale fulfillment with diversity focus
Because of an acquisition, a large food manufacturer needed to fill 31 positions across the US in a variety of sales and marketing areas. Quantum Leap was engaged to fill these roles. With the exception of 4 positions that filled internally, Our firm filled 27 positions - Business Development, Customer Marketing, National Accounts, Category Managers, Supply Chain Managers and Brand Managers. 19 of the 27 (70%) positions were filled with ethnic or female diversity candidates.
New Division Created - Sr. Management
A major durable Goods manufacturer decided to merge 2 divisions resulting in the company creating an additional division. Quantum Leap was retained to fill 14 positions throughout the US. Positions filled included: Director of Marketing, VP Sales, Director of Sales, several Product Managers, 2 National Account Managers and several Region Managers. This project was completed with all candidates in place in a 4 month period.
Broker to Direct Transition:
A major food manufacturer consolidated several divisions resulting in many brands going from a brokered product to a direct sales product. The result: A need to hire over 100 mid management employees. Although Quantum Leap did not have an exclusive, we were engaged to handle the hiring of Account Managers, Customer Marketing Managers, Category Managers. 19 positions were filled during a 3 month period. Our Client Vendor Management site proved invaluable to the client.
Acquisition of new brand
Through an acquisition a major HBC manufacturer took over the responsibility of selling a new brand. Previously, the brand was sold through a broker network and this organization was taking it direct. Quantum Leap was retained to fill 45 positions in the sales organization. 17 positions were filled internally. 28 positions were filled within 3 months. 27 of the 28 offers extended were accepted.
Implementation of Customer Supply Chain & Finance
A major Food & Beverage organization engaged Quantum Leap to help acquire Supply Chain Managers and Finance Managers on National Customer teams as they decentralized these roles to their national customer teams. Quantum Leap filled 18 positions including Supply Chain Managers, Demand Planners, Forecasting, and Finance in Bentonville, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Pleasanton and New England.
Electronic Management
A leading global Food & Beverage organization that retains Quantum Leap for all Sales and Marketing roles has engaged us to manage all job board postings and responses. This has resulted in better qualified candidates in a much more timely manner and has allowed Human Resources to focus on other issues.
Compensation Analysis
A major Food manufacturer engaged Quantum Leap to conduct a compensation analysis of all major food, beverage, HBC manufacturers for National Account Customer teams. The analyses provided salary range, bonus, car information and titles for Category Managers, National Account Managers and Trade Marketing Managers for Kroger, Walmart, Target, Ahold, Safeway, & Albertsons. The manufacturer was able to adjust current structure to become more competitive in the marketplace.
